HoZho House
HoZho is a Navajo word meaning “The Beauty Way.”
We have crafted a Spiritual Oasis for you in our beautiful Retreat space in the Klein Karoo, in the Western Cape, South Africa, whereby you can gain the tools and understanding to further assist you on your spiritual journey ahead.
This retreat space is a non-denominational space, welcoming all of who you are, to become present in a space of grace, support and love.
HoZho House is an old Community Hall, built in the 70’s, in an area called the Pad Kamp (road Camp) on the outskirts of the “Dale”. It was built for the road workers who were building the Tradouw Pass, a magnificent and majestic mountain pass, at the time. The road working community, and greater community of Barrydale would gather here, for sports, socials and dances over the decades.
We were divinely guided here in deep lockdown during Covid and bought the old Pad Saal (road hall) immediately after viewing it, after feeling the energy and Spirit of the place.
We are honoured to be custodians of this hall and land, and to keep the Spirit of Community alive within the walls and gardens.
We have been blessed to create our Dream Seed Vision in this Space, which we can now call HOME, pouring all our Love into the hall and gardens and slowly transforming the space into a Spiritual Oasis.
HoZho House has a large communal gathering space, where we come together to cook and share meals, commune, and enjoy the central Fire.
