You are invited to Dance To Heal The Earth, annual Prayer Dance Ceremony. This Dance, envisioned by Grandmother Robin Youngblood has already been danced in many countries; Germany, Sweden, South Africa, Thailand, United States. This Dance was manifested in SA for the first time in 2014.
This year Dance to Heal the Earth will be danced, for the 8th time.
Join us for three days of Earth Dance Ceremonies, Teachings, Sweat Lodges, Song Circle and Dancing to traditional songs and drum around the Sacred Tree of Life!
One of the ways we can offer our Prayers and Gratitude for all that we receive on a daily basis, from Spirit, and our Sacred Mother Earth, is to sacrifice our bodies and time in “giving back”, an exchange of energy between us and our Earth Mother.
You are invited to DANCE and FAST, or be a SUPPORTER for those Dancing and Seeding Prayers. We receive equally from Spirit whether Dancing or Supporting!
This Prayer Dance Ceremony aligns us with Mother Earth and Father Sky. It’s a way to powerfully reconnect with our Ancestors and the Ancestors of the land, to open the Sacred Medicine Bundles within ourselves and to connect deeply to our Core Being, to the Tree of Life that we Dance around, with songs and drums.

This Sacred Medicine Dance is a profound ceremony that aligns you with Mother Earth and Father Sky. It’s a way to powerfully reconnect with our ancestors, to open the Sacred Medicine Bundles within yourself and to connect deeply to your Core Being and to the Tree of Life. You will learn best how you are to serve the Earth and All Life connected to you. When we dance and pray as a collective of One Heart, our prayers for healing affect Mother Earth and All Our Relatives, helping to restore much needed balance and harmony throughout the world.
Our Intention
The only thing that we can give in return for the Abundance that Mother Earth gives to us, is our bodies. For that reason, we fast, dance, sing, drum and pray, giving ourselves fully to Spirit and the Tree of Life, in complete focus and devotion. This Dance is about Restoring the Balance of Life – the Sacred Feminine and Masculine – in Respect, Honour and Healing for Mother Earth and All Our Relations. While we each receive individual healing, dancing in the connection field with One Heart, One Mind, One Body, One Spirit truly heals All Life, now and for seven generations and beyond.
It’s important that we come with attitude of humility, and a sincere desire to give of ourselves in joyful sacrifice for all the ways that humans have desecrated the Earth. We seek forgiveness for our human family; awareness of and connection with All Our Relations, to understand how we may better serve them. The dance is a gift of our gratitude in the celebration of Life by honouring the Tree of Life.
We will dance the SEVEN rounds for the SEVEN directions over the 2 days. Each direction holds an invitation for a specific intention and prayer

The frequency of the dance, the singing to the beat of the drum, our bare feet on the receiving Earth, stamping to the rhythm of her cycles. In constant awareness of the care and support of our brothers and Sisters, leading us in dance; purifying us with rich mixtures of sage, copal and cedar. Bringing our prayers to the branches that holds so much solace for each of our hearts, its deep green foliage casting patterns on our faces. With each round of prayers, we approach the tree with humility again and again, each time breaking ourselves open a little more until we become one with the generous trunk.
In infinite embrace, the soul of the tree Being reveals itself and allows us each in, when we are ready. I feel much gratitude for Michelle, our Great Mother Eagle Song for the incredible space she holds for each of the dancers and helpers to each surrender completely into their own journey. Her confident and loving guidance, her clarity, and the depth of Presence that she brings is incredible to experience…
